Tulips in a Blue Vase - original acrylic painting on stretched canvas

This is yet another painting of tulips. I love these flowers too much...

While working on this painting, I couldn't finish it for quite a while.

Something seemed to be missing.

 

Finally, I added some bright-green glitter on the leafs. That made the trick, and made the whole painting look more energetic. I really enjoy looking at this painting in my studio. It lifts my mood up!

 

- Acrylic on stretched canvas, 80x60 cm (31.5" x 23.4").

- Canvas edges are painted. You may hang it "as is", even without framing.
