Sakura Cherry Blossoms - original acrylic painting on stretched canvas

I always adored Chinese calligraphy paintings of cherry blossoms,

long before I even started painting myself.

 

Recently, I stumbled upon a popular acrylic artist, who paints

beautiful cherry blossoms in acrylic. So I thought - why not to try

paint Sakura myself?

 

I did. It appeared to be A HUGE LOT of work. That's the final result. I'm not sure I'll paint more cherry blossoms in the future, since it was extremely time consuming. Anyway, this painting is meanwhile available.

 

- Acrylic on stretched canvas, 80x60 cm (31.5" x 23.4").

- Canvas edges are painted. You may hang it "as is", even without framing.
