Olive trees Grove - original acrylic painting on stretched canvas

In Israel it's illegal to cut down olive trees. So, when one needs to remove an olive tree from his site, he calls a service, they come, take the tree out very accurately, and move it elsewhere.

 

What I didn't know was that these olives all get planted in a village called Zimrat. It's a unique place which hosts a huge number of olive trees. Some of them are thousands of years old, and look absolutely amazing.

 

Imagine, these olive trees lived in the B.C. era, and witnessed history that happened thousands of years ago!

 

I got so excited with those olives that painted a bunch of them right away.
